Part-time Kitchen Assistant/ Packer

Position: Part-time Kitchen Assistant/ Packer

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation (e.g. weighing ingredients, portioning, simple) assembly

• Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines accurately

• Ensure accurate packing of orders according to order sheets/invoices

• Check product quality and quantity before packing

• Ensure all products are properly labelled (e.g. date, batch, allergens where applicable)

• Practice FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for stock rotation

• Assist with stock counting and inventory checks when required

• Prevent cross-contamination by following proper food handling procedures

• Ensure personal hygiene standards are always maintained

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing and preparation areas during and after work

• Support smooth workflow between kitchen and packing team

-To follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and ingredients products.

-Assist team members to be productive in their work.

-Other duties as assigned by superior.
