Junior Buyer @ Bendemeer (Fresh graduate are welcome)

• Location: Bendemeer
• Working Hours: Regular Office Hours
• Employment Type: 12-month Contract (Renewable)

Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, equipment, and services
• Assist in cost analysis and volume planning for key commodities
• Learn and develop technical understanding of products and materials used in operations
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure timely material availability
• Monitor inventory levels and support planning to meet production needs
• Track supplier performance in terms of delivery, cost, and quality
• Assist in managing subcontractors to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives such as:
• Exploring alternative suppliers
• Supporting vendor evaluation
• Participating in make vs. buy analysis
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply

• Strong interest in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/ERP knowledge is an advantage

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
