Building Construction Project | 1-Year Contract

💰 Salary: $3,300–$4,300 per month, depending on experience
📍 Work Location: Project site
📅 Working Days: Monday to Saturday
⏰ Working Hours: 8:00am–6:30pm
Saturday work may end around 3:00pm, subject to site requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an Architectural Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and execution of architectural works for a building construction project. You will work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure that all works are completed according to approved drawings and project requirements.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer in planning and executing structural and architectural works

• Lead site coordination activities across different trades

• Coordinate with the Resident Technical Officer (RTO) on inspections and approvals

• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions and method statements

• Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors

• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, contract specifications and quality standards

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders

• Manage the procurement and delivery of architectural materials

• Monitor the usage and availability of materials on site

• Conduct site inspections, trade demonstrations, material testing and mock-ups

• Ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklists and architectural regulatory inspection requirements

• Attend subcontractor and site coordination meetings

• Support contract administration, site operations and project management matters

• Perform other project-related duties assigned by management

✅ Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline

• Architectural or building construction background is required

• Relevant experience in building construction or architectural coordination is preferred

• Proficient in AutoCAD with hands-on drawing experience

• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction details

• Familiar with shop drawings, material submissions and method statements

• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced site environment

• Comfortable working on site and following a six-day work week

• Available to commit to a one-year contract position
