Job Summary

We are seeking a capable and self-driven Full Stack Web Developer to design, build, and maintain web applications across the full technology stack. The ideal candidate writes clean, efficient code and has moved beyond treating AI coding tools as novelties — they use Claude Code, Codex, and equivalent agentic coding assistants as a genuine force multiplier to ship faster, debug smarter, and maintain higher code quality across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend, from database schema to UI implementation
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, performant, and accessible frontend interfaces using modern frameworks
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, ensuring robust data flow between client and server layers
• Write well-structured, testable, and documented code adhering to Amber Creative's engineering standards and best practices
• Use AI coding tools — including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex — actively throughout the development lifecycle for code generation, refactoring, debugging, code review, and test writing
• Participate in technical scoping and architecture discussions, contributing to decisions on stack selection, tooling, and delivery approach
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver cohesive digital products on schedule
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain codebase quality and consistency
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities across the stack
• Stay current with emerging development tools, AI coding assistants, and frontend/backend frameworks, and share learnings with the team
• Support deployment pipelines and assist with CI/CD configuration, hosting, and environment management on platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or DigitalOcean
• Contribute to technical documentation including architecture notes, API references, and onboarding guides

Required competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience
• 2–4+ years of hands-on full stack development experience, with a portfolio of shipped web applications
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Next.js, Vue, or equivalent)
• Solid backend experience in Node.js, Python, PHP, or equivalent, with working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Demonstrated, practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or OpenAI Codex — not just awareness, but integrated daily use in real development workflows
• Ability to critically evaluate, verify, and refactor AI-generated code — understanding its limitations and taking ownership of output quality
• Familiarity with version control using Git and collaborative workflows (branching, PRs, code review)
• Strong problem-solving ability with a methodical approach to debugging and root cause analysis
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with agentic coding workflows — using Claude Code or Codex in multi-step, autonomous development tasks beyond single-prompt completions
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques applied to code generation, including context management, system prompts, and iterative refinement for complex tasks
• Exposure to AI/ML API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic) for building AI-powered product features
• Understanding of web security principles (OWASP Top 10), PDPA compliance considerations, and secure coding practices
