Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Engineer (Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering)

Job Description

The Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer will drive business growth within the industrial fire protection sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, delivering technical solutions, and achieving sales objectives across Singapore and the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their operational requirements and recommending suitable fire protection solutions.

• Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations to showcase products and services.

• Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and technical documentation that meet customer specifications.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to develop application-specific solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and after-sales support to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business reports for management review.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience within the fire protection, fire suppression, industrial safety, or related industries.

• Experience with CAD design will be an advantage.

• Strong understanding of fire suppression systems, including liquid agent, foam, gas, and dry powder technologies.

• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and product management teams.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region for customer visits and business development activities.
