Sales Consultant – Music & Instruments

Founded in 2013, LVL Music is Singapore’s integrated music hub, bringing music lessons, instrument retail, rentals and professional luthier services together under one roof.

We are looking for a strong salesperson who knows how to understand a customer's needs, recommend the right solution and confidently close the sale.

This is not primarily an administrative position. Sales performance and customer conversion are at the heart of this role.

The Role

As a Music Sales Consultant, you will handle enquiries from walk-in customers, WhatsApp, phone and online leads for our music lessons, violins, cellos, bows, cases, accessories and other services.

You will guide customers through their options, build trust, follow up consistently and turn enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and convert incoming sales enquiries

• Consult customers and recommend suitable lessons, instruments and accessories

• Follow up leads actively through WhatsApp, phone and other channels

• Conduct instrument sales consultations and product demonstrations

• Close sales confidently while maintaining a professional customer experience

• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services

• Build long-term relationships with students, parents and instrument customers

• Maintain accurate customer and sales records

• Work towards individual and centre sales targets

• Assist with basic centre operations when required

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident and comfortable asking for the sale.

You should have:

• At least 2 years of sales experience

• Proven ability to convert enquiries into paying customers

• Strong communication and persuasion skills

• Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and through WhatsApp/phone

• Good follow-up discipline

• Ability to understand customer needs instead of simply taking orders

• Strong personal accountability for sales results

• Professional presentation and attitude

• Ability to work weekends

Experience in retail, luxury products, education sales, high-value products, membership sales or consultative sales is highly relevant.

Music or instrument knowledge is an advantage, but strong sales ability is more important. Product training will be provided.
