Job Summary

Join as a Design Engineer to create innovative machinery designs using AutoCAD, collaborating with teams to ensure manufacturability, safety, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for fabrication and assembly to support production accuracy
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine designs for manufacturability and efficiency
• Participate in concept development, layout planning, and continuous design improvement for new products
• Ensure all drawings comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements
• Prepare and maintain documentation, bills of materials (BOM), and revision control to support project tracking and quality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with familiarity preferred in SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills applied to design challenges
• Hands-on knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes considered an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
