Job Purpose
The Vice President – Investments & Products supports the coordination, documentation, and day-to-day execution of product-related activities across all business lines within Lighthouse Canton, including wealth advisory, wealth tech, discretionary and fund management, and any other investment or insurance-linked product lines the Group operates. This role acts as the central point of coordination between the CIO office, business line heads, and supporting functions, ensuring that product initiatives, governance processes, and documentation are tracked, consistent, and delivered on time.
This role suits someone who enjoys working across multiple teams, keeping projects organised, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving, multi-business-line environment.
Reporting Line
- Reports to: Chief Investment Officer
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Business Line Coordination
- Act as the day-to-day coordination point between CIO office and product owners across all business lines (e.g. wealth advisory, wealth tech, discretionary/fund management, and other product-bearing units within the Group).
- Track product initiatives, launches, and reviews across business lines against agreed timelines, flagging delays or dependencies to the CIO.
- Maintain a consolidated, up-to-date view of the Group's product shelf, pipeline, and status across all business lines.
2. Product Governance Support
- Prepare and maintain documentation for the product governance framework, including new product approval packs, periodic review templates, and sunset/exit checklists.
- Coordinate the collection, formatting, and version control of factsheets, term sheets, and disclosure documents, working with business lines to keep materials accurate and current.
- Track outstanding action items from product committee and governance meetings and follow up with relevant owners to closure.
3. Reporting& MIS
- Compile periodic product MIS and dashboards (e.g. product performance, AUM by product, fee summaries) for the CIO and relevant committees.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis relating to product usage, capacity, or performance across business lines.
4. Risk, Compliance & Documentation Support
- Liaise with Risk and Compliance to ensure product documentation is routed for review and sign-off in line with MAS and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of product risk classifications, target market determinations, and approval trails to support internal and regulatory audits.
- Escalate any gaps or inconsistencies in product documentation or governance process to the CIO promptly.
5. Platform &Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with fund administrators, platform providers, and other operational counterparties on onboarding, servicing, and platform-related matters for existing and new products.
- Support the CIO in tracking vendor deliverables and commercial terms.
6. Stakeholder Support
- Support Relationship Managers with product-related queries, collateral, and due diligence requests, escalating complex matters to the CIO.
- Coordinate with Marketing to keep product-related client materials current, routing all external-facing content through Compliance for review.
Qualifications& Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred.
- 8 -12 years of relevant experience in product management, product operations, or project/business coordination within a private bank, multi-family office, asset manager, or wealth platform.
- Demonstrated experience across both public market products (funds, discretionary mandates, model portfolios) and private market products (private equity, private credit, real assets, co-investments).
- Prior exposure to regulatory frameworks relevant to the firm's licenses(MAS, DFSA, SEBI/CSCRF, FCA) is highly advantageous.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams involving multiple business lines and support functions (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations).
Skills &Competencies
- Highly organised, with strong project coordination skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
- Good attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and maintaining documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise effectively across business lines and with support functions.
- Collaborative and proactive working style; comfortable following up with stakeholders across the Group without formal authority over them.
- Working knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint and comfort compiling MIS and dashboards; prior use of product or portfolio systems is a plus.
