Manager, Student Experience & Engagement

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the education industry for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager, Student Life & Engagement to lead initiatives that shape a vibrant, inclusive and engaging student experience.
The Role
You will lead the planning and delivery of student life programmes, develop student leaders and clubs, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen student engagement, wellbeing and overall campus experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop student clubs, chapters and student leaders, including leadership development and succession planning.
- Plan and deliver a diverse calendar of student activities, events, workshops, community and experiential learning programmes.
- Partner with Schools, Business Units and external organisations to enhance student engagement, wellbeing and retention.
- Lead student communications across social media, e-newsletters, campus channels and digital platforms.
- Oversee student mobility, resources, venues, operational matters and student medical insurance administration.
- Analyse participation, feedback and engagement data to measure programme effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead, coach and develop the Student Life & Engagement team, including operational planning, budgets, KPIs and management reporting.
- Ensure programmes are delivered in line with institutional policies, safety, risk management and governance requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of relevant managerial experience.
- Strong leadership, event management and programme planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proactive, collaborative and highly organised, with strong multitasking and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within the Private Education Industry will be an advantage.
- Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends when required.
