Experienced Patent Paralegal and Personal Assistant to Director

We are a well-established and highly regarded boutique intellectual property law practice (www.francinetan.com) seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal to join our team.

The successful candidate should have at least 7–8 years’ experience in patent prosecution and be meticulous, organised and able to work independently. A strong command of English and excellent written communication skills are essential.

The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of patent prosecution work, including the filing and prosecution of patent applications, correspondence with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), management of deadlines and formalities, and other related matters. Familiarity with trade mark prosecution practice would be an advantage.

In addition to patent paralegal responsibilities, the successful candidate will also provide Personal Assistant support to the Managing Director. The role therefore calls for someone who is dependable, discreet, well organised and comfortable managing a varied range of responsibilities.
