Preschool Cleaner/Cook - Immediate

We are looking for warm and responsible, aspiring, mature and passionate Preschool cleaner ,with passion to work with kids to join our Preschool team.

Key Responsibilities

• The staff member will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and well-organised preschool environment. Duties include:
• Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning of classrooms, toilets, pantry, common areas, and other school premises, including vacuuming and mopping.
• Empty rubbish bins regularly and ensure rubbish is disposed of appropriately.
• Clean and sanitise shelves, toys, children's mattresses, tables, chairs, learning materials, and indoor/outdoor play areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and/or mop classroom floors after breakfast, before children's nap time, after lunch, after tea time, and whenever required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of children's toilets and changing areas throughout the day.
• Assist with simple food preparation and the serving of meals and snacks to children.
• Collect and clear bowls, cups, utensils, and food trays from classrooms after meals.
• Wash and maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, food preparation areas, and pantry equipment.
• Support teachers with children's basic care routines when required, including assisting with showering, toileting, and diaper changing.
• Assist with setting up and clearing classrooms and activity areas when required.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and housekeeping materials are properly stored and inform the Principal when supplies need replenishing.
• Follow the preschool's hygiene, food safety, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the teaching team with general operational duties when necessary.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties or tasks assigned by the Principal from time to time to support the smooth daily operation of the preschool.

The staff member is expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, work cooperatively with teachers and other staff, and contribute to providing a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for the children.

• Able to speak in English
• Friendly and Conducive working environment
• Need to have personal hygiene
• High tolerance level ,cheerful and helpful towards staff and children is an advantage
• Must be a team player and be willing to learn
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team
• Hardworking and able to follow instructions
• Punctual and Responsible
• Candidate with relevant experience is a plus

Location: Centre a step from Orchard /Dhoby ghaut
5 working days per week Monday - Friday (Saturday & Sunday off)

Working hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm
