safety supervisor

• Implement and monitor workplace safety and health requirements at the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe work practices.
• Ensure workers comply with company safety rules and approved safe work procedures.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Assist in risk assessments and implementation of control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports and relevant documentation.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure unsafe conditions are rectified.
• Assist with inspections by clients, consultants and relevant authorities.
• Promote a strong safety culture among workers at the worksite.

Requirements

• Relevant WSH/Safety qualification is preferred/required depending on the position and project.
• Good knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and health requirements.
• Able to conduct site safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Able to identify workplace hazards and recommend suitable control measures.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with workers and subcontractors.
• Willing to work at construction sites and in a fast-paced environment.
