Quality Assurance Engineer (Manufacturing/West)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure raw materials, processes, and finished products meet required quality specifications, while identifying defects and non-conformities.
• Analyse quality issues using tools such as SixSigma, SPC, 5 Whys, and cause-and-effect analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and waste.
• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System(QMS), including ISO 9001 implementation, quality documentation, audit records, calibration, and compliance with applicable ISO, IATF, UL, and ASTA standards.
• Manage supplier and customer quality matters, including supplier audits, SCAR/CAPA, customer complaints, quality reports, and audit support.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Engineering, and WSH teams on quality improvement, employee training, risk assessments, safe work procedures, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma in Quality Management, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, or its equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience in quality control and quality management, preferably with ISO certification implementation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality methodologies, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and CAPA; experience with FAI, PPAP, and PSW is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organisational, and collaboration skills
