Supervisor - Transmission and Ingest Team

Lead the transmission and ingest operations, ensuring seamless delivery and management of content workflows. The role involves supervising a team, coordinating closely with clients, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for validating channel requirements, promptly identifying and resolving issues such as playlist deviations and content quality defects, and closely monitoring for any flaws to prevent on-air interference or outages.

2. Must be capable of screening the sports content, especially football, Formula One, Basketball, Tennis, etc. & should have a strong understanding of sports content.

3. Strong knowledge of audio layout, tracks & Profile, etc.

4. Manage transmission and ingest workflows, and housekeeping, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of content.

5. Monitor equipment and systems, ensure minimal downtime and swift resolution of technical issues, and Implement quality control checks to uphold service standards

6. In Case of any technical issues on the transmission chain act promptly and take appropriate action.

7. Assign tasks and create a roster accordingly, monitor team performance and shift-related issues, and ensure adherence to deadlines.

8. Conduct regular training sessions to upskill team members and maintain high-performance levels.

9. Follow SOPs and act as the primary liaison between clients, operations, Scheduling, Traffic, and Graphics, Presentation and feed booking team to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.

10. Address client inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, and build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

11. Prepare and maintain comprehensive logs and reports on transmission and ingest activities.

12. Document workflows, shift reports, issues, and resolutions for future reference and process improvement.
