Software Engineer Intern

Job Description & Requirements

As a .NET Back-End Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineering team to design, develop,and maintain the back-end systems that power our application. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including building APIs,integrating with third-party services, optimizing database queries, and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable back-end systems using C# andthe .NET framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies, best practices, and industry trends
• Document and communicate your work to the broader engineering team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in C# and the .NET Core framework
• Experience with ASP.NET, Web API, or other back-end web technologies
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g.,Entity Framework)
• Understanding of software design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices
• Abilityto work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Exposure to front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular)
