Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that enhance business processes and operational outcomes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyse requirements, support AI initiatives, facilitate project delivery, and contribute to the development of AI governance practices. The successful candidate will help bridge business needs and technical solutions while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and apply industry best practices when supporting AI-related initiatives and project delivery
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and support opportunities for AI adoption across business processes and functions.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications for AI-related solutions.
- Support the planning and delivery of AI initiatives by developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders and project teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and expected outcomes.
- Monitor, assess, and report on the performance and effectiveness of implemented AI solutions, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and support the integration of GenAI capabilities — including LLMs, AI-assisted workflows, and prompt engineering — into data science products and enterprise platforms
- Support the responsible adoption of GenAI within governance and risk frameworks, ensuring ethical use, explainability, and auditability of AI-powered features
- Prepare analysis, reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making and project delivery.Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time in support of business objectives.
- Be an effective communicator and collaborative partnerCollaborate effectively with production and data science teams to deliver enterprise data science platforms and enterprise grade data science products
- Work with data science and production teams to scope, pilot, and scale GenAI-powered product features, translating business needs into AI product requirements and success metrics
- Interface with assigned business groups, and support them in identifying opportunities to deliver additional business value through data science productsIdentify and surface GenAI use case opportunities within assigned business groups, facilitating structured discovery sessions to assess feasibility, impact, and readiness
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree, professional qualification, or equivalent demonstrated competencies in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience in business analysis, project delivery, digital transformation, data analytics, AI-related initiatives, or other relevant domains will be advantageous.
- Candidates with transferable experience and relevant competencies are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with data analysis and querying tools such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent technologies.
- Able to develop appropriate project plans using suitable methodologies and manage assigned projects independently, commensurate with the role requirements and experience level.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, statistical techniques, and data visualisation methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and best practices.
- Awareness of AI and machine learning technologies, including natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, or related technologies, would be advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
