Regulatory Compliance Vice President – Asset Management (7-month Contract)

We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire a VP, Regulatory Compliance to support its Asset Management business in Singapore. This is a 7-month maternity cover position.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory compliance and financial crime advisory to the Asset Management business.
• Assess regulatory developments and their impact on products, investment activities and business initiatives.
• Support implementation and enhancement of compliance policies, frameworks and controls.
• Advise the business on regulatory matters, including AML/CFT requirements.
• Partner with local, regional and global Compliance/Risk stakeholders on regulatory initiatives.
• Support regulatory, audit and compliance reviews, including remediation and escalation of issues.
• Prepare compliance and risk updates for senior management and governance forums.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of Compliance experience within fund/asset management.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and the regulatory environment.
• Experience in regulatory advisory and interpreting regulatory changes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Comfortable working with senior management and regulators.
