Treasury Trade Finance (Commodities) #FR (1 year contract)

A commodities firm is looking for a 1-year contract for a Trade Finance (Commodities)

Your new role

• - Trade Finance Operations: Manage and administer trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and Documentary Collections. Support the efficient allocation and utilization of banking limits across business units
• - Banking Relationships: Liaise with bankers on credit facilities, operational matters, issue escalations, mandate maintenance, and KYC requirements. Build and maintain effective workingrelationships with external banking stakeholders.
• - Treasury system &E-banking: Familiar with Treasury Management Systems(TMS) and experience in accessing e-banking platforms.
• - Project Management &Process Improvement: Participate in and coordinate multiple treasury-related projects simultaneously. Contribute to process enhancements, system implementations, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure successful project delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have:

• - 4–5 years of hands-on treasury and/or trade finance Operations, preferably within a commodity trading house, multinational corporation or financial institution
• - Sound understanding of international trade finance, including Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, documentary collections, and other trade finance instruments.
• - Experience working with SAPand Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) modules is highly preferred.
• - Strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in MS Excel
