Data Scientist (Global Content & Commerce Platform)

About our client
We're hiring a Data Scientist for a fast-growing global content and e-commerce platform expanding its Singapore presence. This is a high-impact, business-facing role where you'll shape how data drives strategy across community, commercialization, and e-commerce.

What you'll do:

• Lead data analysis that directly informs business decisions and strategic direction
• Deep-dive into community, commercialization, and e-commerce data to uncover insights that shape product and strategy
• Build and own business data systems and analytics infrastructure
• Establish rigorous measurement and attribution frameworks
• Translate industry data and market trends into strategic-level recommendations

What we're looking for:

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years in data science, business analytics, or strategic analysis (internet/tech background preferred)

• Experience building data capabilities from scratch at an early-stage global company is a strong plus

• Strong business acumen — comfortable partnering closely with business stakeholders
• Sharp analytical and logical thinking, with a track record of deep-dive problem solving
• Hands-on with AI tools, able to build end-to-end analytical workflows
