📍 Location: Singapore
💰 Salary: Approx. $13/hour
📅 Contract: 1 year (Jan–Dec 2027), with option to extend
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–2:00pm (30-min lunch break)
🧪 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Science Lab Assistant to support the smooth and safe operation of the school's Science laboratories.
📋 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Prepare resources and equipment for Science lessons and experiments
🔹 Assist teachers with laboratory resources during lessons
🔹 Maintain records of lab usage, resources and activities
🔹 Conduct inventory checks and ensure equipment and resources are adequately stocked
🔹 Assist in maintaining the school garden and hydroponics system 🌱
🔹 Conduct safety checks and ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed
🔹 Work closely with the Head of Department and Level Head Science
✅ Requirements
🎓 Minimum GCE 'O' Level
🔬 At least 3 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant in a school environment
📌 Good organisational skills and attention to detail
🤝 Able to work independently and support teachers and students effectively
🗓️ Service Schedule
Monday to Friday: 7:30am–2:00pm, with 30-minute lunch break
Service is also required during selected school holidays:
• March holidays – 2 days
• June holidays – 6 days
• September holidays – 2 days
• December holidays – 6 days
🚫 No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, or other school holidays/days when the school is not operating, except for the specified dates above.
