The BIM Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating BIM activities across projects, ensuring BIM standards, processes, models and deliverables are effectively implemented and maintained. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, high-quality and timely BIM deliverables.
Manage and oversee BIM implementation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Develop, implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, workflows and procedures.
Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines, including Architectural, Structural and MEP.
Conduct BIM coordination and clash detection to identify, manage and resolve design and construction conflicts.
Review BIM models and deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, site teams and other project stakeholders on BIM-related matters.
Lead BIM coordination meetings and monitor the resolution of outstanding coordination issues.
Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure proper control of project documents, models and information.
Provide technical guidance and support to BIM Coordinators, BIM Modellers and project team members.
Establish and maintain BIM modelling standards, naming conventions, templates and workflows.
Review and manage model federation, model updates and information exchanges between project stakeholders.
Support the project team in applying BIM for construction planning, coordination, documentation and project delivery.
Ensure BIM processes comply with project requirements, Singapore BIM standards and relevant BCA requirements.
Provide training and guidance to project personnel on BIM software, workflows and industry best practices.
Troubleshoot BIM-related technical issues and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
Prepare BIM reports, coordination reports and other required documentation.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
