Facilities Manager (Food Supplies-Industrial Ammonia&Freon Chiller)

• Supervise and direct the maintenance team to ensure the safe, reliable, and highly efficient continuous operation of large-scale ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair factory machinery, food production equipment, freezer trucks, forklifts, and overall building M&E. This includes executing retrofits, modifications, and engineering solutions to resolve complex mechanical issues
• Oversee contractors and vendors conducting specialized repairs and servicing. Monitor expiring maintenance contracts, review facility service reports, and collaborate with the General Manager to award new service contracts and impending purchases
• Champion workplace and food safety by actively supporting the company’s ISO22000 and HACCP programs. Maintain the company’s BizSAFE certification and act as the designated Fire Safety & Risk Officer.
• Manage the fire alarm systems, oversee the security contractor, and drive various facility project management initiatives

skills and experience required

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical supervisory or facility management role.
• Extensive hands-on experience and working knowledge of large-scale industrial ammonia and Freon chiller systems is strictly required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of complex electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read, draft, and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Valid BizSAFE Certification is required.
• Must be able to commit to a 5.5-day work week and be available for on-call standby duties to respond to critical facility or refrigeration emergencies.
