Panel Beater (Vehicle)

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Panel Beater to join our automotive repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle body panels to their original condition while ensuring good workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles to assess damage to body panels and vehicle structures.
• Repair, straighten, reshape and replace damaged vehicle body panels.
• Carry out panel beating, dent removal and body restoration works.
• Remove and refit vehicle parts such as bumpers, doors, fenders, bonnets and other body components.
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Ensure repaired panels are properly aligned and fitted.
• Work closely with spray painters and other workshop personnel to complete repair jobs.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in vehicle panel beating, automotive body repair or a related field.
• Able to identify and assess vehicle body damage.
• Able to perform panel repair, dent removal and replacement of damaged components.
• Familiar with common workshop tools and equipment.
• Good attention to detail and workmanship.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
• Candidates with relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position.
• Work will be carried out in an automotive workshop environment.
• Training and guidance will be provided where necessary.
