AML KYC - Corporate Bank

Responsibilities

• Perform and review KYC/CDD for corporate banking customers, covering new onboarding, periodic reviews and event-triggered reviews.
• Review complex corporate structures, ownership information, beneficial owners, authorised signatories and supporting documents.
• Conduct customer risk assessments and screening for sanctions, PEPs and adverse news.
• Perform enhanced due diligence on higher-risk customers and escalate material concerns to Compliance or management.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and relevant stakeholders to address documentation gaps and resolve complex KYC matters.
• Monitor outstanding cases and support the the timely completion of the KYC review pipeline.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure that all approvals and supporting documents are properly documented.
• Support KYC remediation exercises, audit reviews, system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and business stakeholders on KYC requirements where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Strong KYC/CDD experience within corporate
• Experience reviewing complex corporate structures and higher-risk customer relationships.
• Prior experience performing a KYC checker or quality-review function would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of beneficial ownership, sanctions, PEP, adverse news and enhanced due diligence requirements.
• Familiarity with Singapore AML/CFT regulations and corporate banking products.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to exercise sound judgement and manage complex cases independently.
