Job Summary
Join a specialist medical clinic as a Clinic Assistant, supporting the Clinic Manager and doctor to ensure smooth daily operations and delivering professional, courteous service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and register patients professionally and courteously to create a positive first impression
- Manage patient appointments, telephone calls, WhatsApp messages, and general enquiries efficiently to maintain clinic workflow
- Assist with patient registration, queue management, and clinic operations to support smooth patient flow
- Collect payments and issue invoices and receipts accurately to ensure proper financial transactions
- Assist with insurance, corporate, and medical claims processing to support patient billing needs
- Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Prepare and coordinate clinic sessions in collaboration with the doctor and Clinic Manager to facilitate smooth operations
- Liaise with patients regarding appointments, investigations, follow-up visits, and administrative matters to ensure clear communication
- Assist with medication, consumables, and clinic inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and professional presentation of reception and clinical areas to uphold clinic standards
- Support the Clinic Manager with general clinic administration and operational duties to enhance clinic efficiency
- Perform other reasonable duties necessary for the smooth running of the clinic as assigned
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous experience in a specialist, private, or GP clinic or strong customer-service and administrative experience in healthcare-related settings
- Good interpersonal and customer-service skills demonstrated through effective patient interactions
- Clear communication skills in English to interact with patients and team members
- Additional spoken languages, particularly Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesia/Malay, would be advantageous for patient communication in a multilingual environment
- Comfortable using computers, clinic management systems, and common office applications to support administrative tasks
- Organised, dependable, and attentive to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a small team
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the clinic develops

Employment Details
- Full-time position
- Salary: S$3,000–S$3,500 per month, commensurate with relevant experience
- Singapore-based specialist medical clinic
- Relevant specialist or private-clinic experience will be favourably considered
- Training and opportunities to develop broader clinic administrative skills will be provided
