Management Trainee (F&B operations/ Institutional Catering)

Job Summary
As a Management Trainee, you will undergo astructured training programme designed to equip you with the skills andknowledge required to manage internal operations (front line or back end). Thiscould be a 1–2-year duration where in the end, the trainee will be converted toa full-time staff.
Your responsibilities include:
- Learn all aspects of office or operations, including Front Line (Operations) or Back End (Office) roles.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure an exceptional experience.
- Assist in the daily operations of the business to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and motivate service crew to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure high standard of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock ordering, and minimise food wastage.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
- Assist in manpower planning, staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and training of team members.
- Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to achieve business targets.
- Learn cost control, labour productivity, and restaurant profitability management.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food safety regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and perform administrative duties when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Management.
· Gain exposure to Procurement, Marketing, HR and Operations Administration.
· Work with management on business improvement initiatives and operational projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline (Hospitality, Business, or Food & Beverage Management is an advantage).
