Student Guidance Support Officer

Job Description

• Manage student behaviour and safety incidents.
• Conduct misconduct and bullying investigations.
• Implement disciplinary and restorative interventions.
• Conduct home visits and neighbourhood patrols when required.
• Support student development programmes.
• Engage parents and external agencies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate student case records and documentation.
• Provide administrative and operational support

Requirements

• Diploma or higher in Counselling, Educational Psychology, Social Work or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in youth engagement, preferably in a school setting.
• Experience supporting students with social-emotional needs and/or learning difficulties.
• Patient, firm yet warm, fair and respectful in approach.
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and engage students effectively.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
