Student Care Teacher (Chinese Language Support)

About the Role

We are seeking caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Student Care Teachers to support the learning and development of primary school students in a nurturing environment. If you enjoy working with children and are passionate about their academic and personal growth, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students after school.
• Guide students in completing their daily homework and assignments.
• Conduct enrichment activities and foster positive learning habits.
• Maintain discipline while creating a caring and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and behaviour.
• Support centre operations, administrative duties, and holiday programmes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver quality student care services.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in student care, childcare, tuition, education, or teaching is an advantage.
• Passionate about working with primary school children.
• Patient, responsible, and able to build positive relationships with children and parents.
• Language Requirement

This role requires the successful candidate to communicate in spoken and written Chinese, as they will be required to:

• Guide and assist students with Chinese language homework and assignments.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking students and parents where required.
• Support Chinese language learning activities conducted by the centre.
