Senior Food Application Technologist / Specialist

Job Description:

- Carry out application work / study in applications using company portfolio, performing sensory and physicochemical analysis

- Troubleshoot customers' problems and conduct trials at customer premises when needed

- Develop innovative formulation concepts and prototypes based on market trends, business needs, and customer requirements, working closely with the Sales team to ensure solutions meet clients' expectations

- Present food ingredients and technical solutions to customers through presentations, seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, and innovation days, supporting Technical Services on customer-focused innovation projects

- Record all methods, tasks, and findings of assigned projects

- Application Development work, providing customer's technical support

- Maintain and liaise with necessary parties to ensure laboratory equipment is in optimal and safe working condition

- Other ad hoc duties assigned by the company

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of R&D experience as a Senior Food Technologist within bakery, processed food, beverages, ice cream, confectionery, or related ingredient sectors

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline

- Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility

- Self-motivated individual with a positive, can-do attitude

- Solid technical knowledge and strong presentation skills for product demonstrations

- Strong analytical capabilities

- Well-developed palate and broad sense of taste

- Hands-on experience is essential

- Creative and innovative mindset

Compensation:

- Working location: Science Park II, Singapore

- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

- Transport allowance and/or reimbursable
