Job Summary

We seek passionate Business and Economics teachers to deliver engaging IGCSE and IBDP lessons, develop curriculum materials, and support student progress at our learning centre.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IGCSE and IBDP Business and Economics lessons using established curriculum and pedagogy
• Develop lesson materials and provide constructive feedback to improve student academic performance
• Assist in reviewing and enhancing curriculum content to maintain academic standards
• Build positive relationships with students to motivate and support their learning progress
• Monitor and report on student performance regularly to track academic development
• Provide targeted academic support to students requiring additional help
• Design and set assessment papers, including question papers, resit papers, and answer keys

Required competencies and certifications

• Experience teaching Business and Economics at IGCSE and IBDP levels
• Familiarity with IGCSE or International Baccalaureate curricula
• Recent and relevant classroom teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in related subjects
• Experience teaching in multilingual environments and conducting academic assessments
• Proficiency in conducting online lessons using Zoom and familiarity with software applications and productivity tools

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field (not mandatory but advantageous)
