Finance Analyst

Job Description

• Maintain investment records, portfolio reporting activities and related schedules, including transactions and valuations;
• Perform daily trade and cashbooks updates to ensure seamless cash flow management;
• Perform cash and position reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial data;
• Maintain accounting records, billings, payments, reconciliations and supporting schedules across multiple entities;
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and other financial reports;
• Support investment accounting and portfolio reporting activities, including investment transactions, valuations and related schedules;
• Monitor and maintain cost tracking;
• Assist with external audits, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance requirements;
• Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules;
• Provide backup support for treasury and settlement processes as required;
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives and system enhancement projects to strengthen operational efficiency and controls;
• Undertake ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline;
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, ideally within asset management industry, family office, investment management or private investment environments;
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, investment accounting, with familiarity across asset classes including private equity funds, equities, fixed income, or alternative investments;
• Proactive team player with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
