You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing bank reconciliations, payments and account coding to ensure accuracy and discipline
- Leading accurate and timely month-end closing, management accounts and financial reporting
- Strengthening audit readiness and working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Taking on broader responsibilities and new challenges as the organisation evolves
- Driving accurate and timely financial reporting, closing and financial operations
- Delivering insights and recommendations to management and key committees
- Championing strong financial governance, compliance and internal controls
- Turning financial data into meaningful insights that support better decisions
- Driving regulatory, funding, grant and statutory reporting requirements
- Identifying risks, gaps and opportunities before they become issues
- Driving budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Spearheading finance, compliance and improvement projects
- Improving finance processes, systems and ways of working
- Building a dependable and high-performing team

We want to hear from you if you are that unique person who
- holds a Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA
- brings at least 5-7 years' relevant financial experience and ideally in the healthcare setting or non-profit sector
- is driven to stretch beyond their comfort zone and take on increasingly complex responsibilities and
- thinks ahead, takes initiative and confidently turns problems into solutions!
