Infant Care English Teacher

certifications in Infant Care, HCIC or ACEY, relevant experience with infants, First Aid certification, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for child development and a nurturing environment.

• Promote Security and Trust: Create a secure and trusting relationship with infants.
• Provide Routine Care: Perform daily care tasks such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and managing naps.
• Facilitate Learning: Encourage exploration and learning through planning and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Maintain Safety & Hygiene: Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment for infants.
• Communicate: Effectively communicate with children, parents, and other staff members.
• Documentation: Documenting children's learning through periodic portfolios.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in centre initiatives and community engagement.

Key Requirements

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Early Childhood Care and Education (e.g., HCIC/CIT, ACECCE).
• Experience: Experience or willing to learn and adapt.
• First Aid: A valid First Aid Certification (but not necessary).
• Skills:Strong active communication and interpersonal skills.
  Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
  Ability to be responsive to infants' needs and cues.
  Flexibility and willingness to participate in reflective practices and continuous learning.
