M&E ENGINEER

Position: M&E Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate M&E works for construction projects from planning to completion.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on M&E matters.

• Review M&E drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Supervise and monitor site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements.

• Prepare and review technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.

• Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning of M&E systems.

• Monitor project progress, quality and installation schedules.

• Identify and resolve technical issues and coordinate with relevant parties for solutions.

• Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports and documentation.

• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on variations, measurements and project costs.

• Ensure M&E works comply with relevant Singapore standards, regulations and project requirements.

• Attend site meetings and provide technical support to the project team.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, M&E Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant M&E construction experience in Singapore.

• Experience in ACMV, electrical or building services will be an advantage.

• Able to read and understand M&E drawings and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of construction site coordination, installation and testing & commissioning.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM software will be an advantage.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.

• Willing to work on construction sites and attend project meetings when required.

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
