M&E QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Position: M&E Quantity Surveyor
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review M&E project cost estimates and tender documents.
• Prepare and evaluate Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to identify scope, quantities and cost implications.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders (VO), claims and progress payment submissions.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct quantity take-off and measurement of M&E works, including electrical, ACMV, plumbing and other M&E services.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, costs, variations, claims and other commercial documentation.
• Assist Project Managers and management in cost control, procurement and commercial matters.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with project contracts and company procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore.
• Candidates with experience in ACMV, electrical or M&E construction projects will have an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, costing, variation orders and progress claims.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
