Senior Operations Officer (Tenant & Mall Operations)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Operations Officer to support the daily operations of a major shopping mall and mixed-use asset. The successful candidate will focus on tenant relations, operational coordination, customer experience, and vendor management to ensure smooth mall operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily mall operations to maintain a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment
• Act as the primary contact for retail tenants on operational matters including fit-outs, handovers, and reinstatement works
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and tenant spaces to uphold presentation standards
• Collaborate with facilities teams, contractors, and service providers to resolve operational issues promptly
• Monitor tenant compliance with mall rules, regulations, and operational requirements to ensure adherence
• Support tenant engagement initiatives to improve tenant satisfaction and retention
• Assist in operational planning for promotions, events, and festive campaigns to enhance mall activities
• Prepare detailed operational reports, incident logs, and management updates for informed decision-making
• Support budgeting processes, invoice processing, service contract administration, and vendor coordination to optimize operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in shopping mall operations, retail property management, or tenant relations
• Proven experience working with retail tenants in a shopping mall environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to build effective relationships
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills to enhance service delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Estate Management, Property Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related disciplines
