Job Description

  • Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities
  • Leading, coaching and developing warehouse personnel to achieve productivity, service and safety objectives
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy through stock control processes, cycle counting activities and inventory reconciliation
  • Implementing and improving operational procedures to enhance efficiency, service levels and warehouse performance
  • Monitoring warehouse KPIs and preparing management reports on operational activities and inventory performance
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers, transport providers and suppliers to ensure smooth logistics execution
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety, quality standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe working environment

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimally 5 years of warehouse operations experience with at least 3 years in a people management capacity
  • Experience within a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) environment will be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations and distribution processes
  • Experience managing warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms and inventory control systems
  • Proven ability to drive productivity improvements and operational excellence initiatives
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing warehouse KPIs, reporting and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and warehouse best practices
