Lift Maintenance Specialist | $3,400 + AWS + Bonus + OT

Salary: S$3,400 Basic + Bonus + AWS + OT

(Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.)

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:45pm

Work Location: Kaki Bukit (Office) + On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and inspection of elevators and escalators.

• Attend to breakdown and service calls and respond promptly to equipment faults and operational issues.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system faults.

• Carry out repairs, adjustments and replacement of defective or worn components to restore equipment performance.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and ensure reliable operation.

• Perform functional checks after maintenance and repair works to ensure equipment is operating safely and properly.

• Identify potential equipment issues and report abnormalities for further investigation or corrective action.

• Complete maintenance records, service reports and other required documentation accurately.

• Comply with maintenance procedures, safety requirements and quality standards, as well as applicable Singapore regulations.

• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, customers and other technical teams to resolve maintenance-related issues.

• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that all tools, equipment and work areas are properly managed.

• Carry out other maintenance, technical or operational duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
  

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Environment (Vertical Transportation) or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the lift or escalator industry.

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting and maintenance practices.

• Experience in 1-man servicing is required.

• Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Lift System & Equipment Maintenance is required.

• Lift Maintenance for Specialists certification is preferred.

• Willing to respond to breakdown calls and perform duties according to operational requirements.
