About this job
Responsibilities
- Provide Oracle database administration and production support.
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, backup and recovery.
- Monitor database performance, availability and capacity.
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support database security, access management and user administration.
- Assist with database maintenance, upgrades and migration activities.
- Work with application and infrastructure teams to resolve database-related issues.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Experience in Oracle Database Administration, backup/recovery and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of SQL, database troubleshooting and database security.
- Experience supporting production databases and resolving database incidents.
- Oracle certification or exposure to RAC, Data Guard or RMAN is an advantage.
