Junior Backend Developer

Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Backend Developer to join our Singapore-based team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with minimal experience who are passionate about backend development and eager to work with cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Golang.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and testing.

• Optimize application performance, ensure system reliability, and write clean, maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Familiarity with Golang or similar backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive learning attitude.

• Proficiency in Chinese is required to read and process Chinese-language technical documentation, system data, and effectively collaborate with our Chinese-speaking external technical vendors/stakeholders.

• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team-player mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to have):

• Prior internship or academic project experience in backend development or cloud services.

• Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and API development (e.g., RESTful APIs, GraphQL).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture or containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
