Senior / QC Associate

About the Role

P-Con Management is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Singapore to identify a Senior / QC Associate to support laboratory and project-related quality control activities.

This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on analytical laboratory experience who are looking to gain exposure to method validation, laboratory operations, quality systems, and cross-functional project work within a GMP-regulated environment.

You will work closely with Quality Control, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and technical teams to ensure testing activities, sample management, and project deliverables are completed in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
• Manage sample receipt, labelling, storage, tracking, and disposal while maintaining sample integrity and traceability.
• Support method development, method verification, method validation, and analytical method transfer activities.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and coordinate vendor servicing when required.
• Participate in laboratory investigations, deviation management, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities.
• Support project initiatives, process improvements, equipment qualification activities, and documentation updates.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with GMP, GLP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project timelines and laboratory deliverables are achieved.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain inspection readiness within the laboratory.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Control, analytical laboratory, or testing environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory documentation practices and data integrity requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willing to work on-site at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Singapore.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences environment.
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, TOC, dissolution, or biochemical assays.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, GDP, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Familiarity with LIMS, Empower, CDS, or other electronic laboratory systems.
• Experience supporting method validation, method transfer, equipment qualification, or laboratory investigations.
• Exposure to deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data trending/reporting activities.
