Waiter/Waitress for Chinese Fusion Restaurant at Dempsey!

We are opening an exciting new modern Chinese fusion restaurant at Dempsey Hill this December, under Ebb & Flow Group — a Singapore-based multi-concept F&B hospitality group known for innovative dining experiences. Join us at the ground floor of this launch and be part of a passionate team shaping a fresh dining concept in one of Singapore's most loved lifestyle enclaves.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, gracious, and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings
• Set up and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation at all times
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally, escalating where necessary
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, timely service
• Uphold restaurant hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
• (Senior Waiter) Guide and mentor junior waitstaff, assisting with on-the-job training
• (Senior Waiter) Take the lead on section/floor management during service, stepping in to support the outlet manager as needed
• (Senior Waiter) Handle VIP or higher-touch tables with greater autonomy and polish

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in F&B service preferred (Senior Waiter: minimum [1–2] years relevant experience, ideally in a full-service or fine-dining restaurant)
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with a diverse clientele
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Basic knowledge of Chinese cuisine or fusion dining concepts is a plus, not a must
