Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chinese Trainer to join a premium private student care and enrichment centre in Woodlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chinese to Primary 1 to Primary 5 students and supporting their academic development in a structured and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chinese language lessons to Primary 1 to Primary 5 students
• Plan and conduct engaging lessons based on the MOE primary school Chinese syllabus
• Provide guidance and support to students in their Chinese language learning
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets and activities to reinforce students' understanding
• Monitor students' learning progress and provide appropriate feedback
• Create a positive, structured and encouraging classroom environment
• Work closely with the centre team to support students' overall academic and personal development

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline
• Strong command of both spoken and written Chinese
• Good understanding of the Singapore primary school Chinese syllabus
• Relevant teaching, tutoring, student care or enrichment experience will be an advantage
• Passionate about working with primary school students
• Confident, energetic and engaging when interacting with children
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
