Youth Worker

Job Description

• Manage the Tree House / Student Services Hub and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for students.
• Build positive relationships with identified students and support their holistic development.
• Provide socio-emotional and academic support to students during curriculum hours.
• Plan and conduct customised intervention, mentoring and engagement programmes.
• Observe, identify and document students’ needs and report concerns to the Student Development Team.
• Provide feedback on students’ needs and programme effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
• Review engagement programmes and recommend improvements for future implementation.
• Work professionally with students and school personnel and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work or a related discipline.
• Registered Social Worker / Social Work Practitioner with theSingapore Association of Social Workers (SASW).
• Preferably a Certified Practitioner in Restorative Practice /Building Relational Capacity.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services,working with students with additional needs, or supporting children and youth.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently.
• Medically fit and healthy
