Senior Manager/Manager, Procurement

Our client is looking for a seasoned procurement leader to drive strategic sourcing, S2P transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the S2P system (Coupa), ensuring integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Drive system adoption through stakeholder engagement, communication, and training for users and suppliers.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and process improvements, including future enhancements and module rollouts.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into spend, compliance, and supplier performance.
• Utilize data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve processes, and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain and operational risks.
• Promote sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
• Drive innovation through technology, digital tools, and best-practice procurement approaches.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects from requirements gathering through supplier selection and contract award.
• Develop and deliver procurement training to enhance policy awareness and compliance.
• Act as the key liaison for audits and support the implementation of corrective actions and controls.
• Lead change management initiatives to support new systems, policies, and procurement programs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree qualification with at least 10 years of procurement experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulatory requirements, preferably within the public sector.
• Hands-on experience with Coupa and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with stakeholders across corporate and academic functions.
• Proactive, resourceful team player with a strong commitment to coaching and developing team members.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and strong business ethics.
• Able to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
