M&E Project Engineer / Tampines / Up to $5500

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and execution of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of Mechanical & Electrical systems for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within required timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and review technical information to identify potential issues, risks and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications and feasibility studies according to project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address technical or operational issues that may affect project delivery.
• Ensure project works comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and respond to project-related technical queries.
• Prepare quotations and project cost estimates.
• Monitor project budgets and manage project expenditure.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering/project experience.
• Experience in Airside project construction will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of M&E engineering and construction works.
• Able to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Good technical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Able to work in a 5.5-day work-week arrangement.
