Job Responsibilities

Financial Close & Entity Management

  • Independently manage and execute month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Own the general ledger and ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Partner with business and operational teams to understand key drivers of financial performance and provide insights into variances and trends.
  • Continuously improve close and reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Analyze revenue and expense accounts, providing variance analysis and insightful explanations.

Compliance, Reporting & Audit

  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS or local accounting standards and maintain high-quality documentation and internal controls.
  • Prepare and review management and statutory financial statements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors during annual audits, ensuring efficient completion of audit deliverables.
  • Support preparation of corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory filings, coordinating with external service providers where necessary.
  • Business Partnership & Process Improvement
    ●Act as a finance partner to business units, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
    ● Evaluate, design, and implement process improvements leveraging technology tools such as NetSuite, Excel, or automation platforms.
    ● Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Strategy team to support new initiatives and entity structuring.

Job Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.
● Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
● Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including experience with entity-level ownership or financial close.
● Prior experience in audit or with Big 4/public accounting firms is advantageous.
● Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
● Exposure to fintech, technology, or multi-entity international operations is a plus.
● Good technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to translate accounting impacts into business insights.
