4-5 Months Temp Food Service Assistant (Healthcare) *SOUTH* #HZTK

Location: Queenstown
Working Hours: 5-day work week, 42 hours/week

• Rotational hours: 5.15am–2.45pm / 7.30am–5.00pm
• Includes weekends & public holidays

Transport claimable for 5:15am shift

Job Scope

• Manage patient meal orders and diet-related administrative duties.
• Generate daily meal summaries and meal chits accurately.
• Handle calls, enquiries, and feedback from patients and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with meal assembly, plating, and distribution.
• Monitor and manage food stock, supplies, and deliveries.
• Conduct patient meal satisfaction surveys and record feedback.
• Support staff meal orders and payment processing.
• Perform general administrative and operational duties within the food service department.
• Ensure food service procedures and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Food Science, Food Nutrition, or any related field.
• Candidates with prior relevant experience in food service, healthcare, hospitality, or administrative is an advantage.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification required.
