Senior Appian Developer

The Appian Senior Developer designs and builds core components of Appian applications for Singapore public-sector clients, working closely with the Solution Architect to implement systems that meet stringent agency standards for security, performance, and usability. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with mentoring junior developers and requires expert judgment in Appian design patterns, security frameworks, and enterprise integration approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Core Development: Design and configure Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, Records, Sites, and Task Reports per architectural specifications.

• Data Architecture & Security: Develop and maintain Custom Data Types (CDTs) and RDBMS schemas; implement robust Appian security configurations (groups, role maps, object-level security) aligned with public-sector data protection rules.

• System Integration: Build and maintain integrations with agency and Whole-of-Government (WoG) systems via Web APIs, Integration Objects, and Connected Systems while complying with restricted network protocols.

• Quality Assurance & Security Compliance: Conduct code and design reviews, resolve defects identified via Appian/server logs, support UAT, and execute Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) remediation.

• Governance & Leadership: Provide technical guidance to mid/junior developers, translate stakeholder requirements into detailed technical designs, and produce audit-ready technical documentation for go-lives and cutover activities.
