Digital Media Specialist
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract

Salary: Up to $3,600 per month, depending on experience
My client is looking for a Digital Media Specialist to support the organisation’s photography, videography, audio-visual operations, and digital content initiatives. The successful candidate will play an important role in capturing and producing engaging visual content, supporting events and programmes, and enabling the effective use of multimedia and AV technology.
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Videography
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos of events, programmes, performances, celebrations, and day-to-day activities.
- Document enrichment programmes, learning activities, CCAs, workshops, and special events.
- Edit photographs and videos for use across websites, newsletters, social media, and other communication platforms.
- Create visual content to support organisational values, community engagement, achievements, and key initiatives.
- Provide basic photography and videography guidance to staff and participants.
Audio-Visual Systems Management
- Operate PA and audio-visual systems for daily activities, meetings, assemblies, and special events.
- Provide technical support for meetings, orientations, stakeholder engagements, and other events.
- Set up and operate audio equipment for performances, ceremonies, presentations, and celebrations.
- Set up and operate multi-camera systems for live streaming and hybrid meetings, including seamless camera switching and integration with virtual meeting platforms.
- Provide basic training to users on microphone, sound, and AV equipment.
- Maintain equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for servicing and repairs.
- Support emergency announcement procedures where required.
Technology & Digital Content Support
- Support staff in developing digital learning and communication resources.
- Assist with the creation and management of digital content and online learning materials.
- Develop promotional materials for outreach, engagement activities, and events.
- Recommend and utilise appropriate multimedia tools and resources to support various programmes and initiatives.
Training & Capacity Building
- Conduct basic workshops or training sessions on photography, videography, multimedia creation, and AV equipment.
- Guide participants in the use of digital media tools and equipment.
- Develop simple user guides and instructional materials for AV and multimedia equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Media Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in photography, videography, multimedia production, or AV operations.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and video/photo editing software.
- Hands-on experience with photography, videography, audio-visual equipment, and live streaming.
- Experience with multi-camera setups and hybrid meeting technology will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Organised, hands-on, and comfortable supporting events that may require work outside regular office hours.
